Kilmar Street Group Reconstruction
Project Scope
- Five residential streets were upgraded. Reconstruction of Rexford, LeFrois, Shady Lane; rehabilitation of Kilmar; simple curb replacement on Milan St.
- Vanguard Engineering provided construction administration for this project which included: pavement evaluation and replacement, replaced gutters with new granite curbing and underdrain, spot sidewalk replacement, replacement of all driveway aprons, upgrades to existing storm drain system and street lighting conduit. Replace water main and services along Shady Lane. Restoration of all lawn areas disturbed by the work.
- Four project streets were immediately adjacent to Benjamin Franklin High School. Coordinated construction and detours with local school to maintain pedestrian and vehicular access.
- Construction performed by Zoladz Construction during summer 2017, cost was $984,000.
